Syed received his BEng in Electronic Engineering and MSc in Microelectronic System Design from the University of Westminster and he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Adem Coskun and Professor Izzet Kale. His research title is ‘’Interference Resilient Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Receivers’ and he was awarded the "CAVENDISH RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP" by the University of Westminster. His research involves designing, developing, and implementing state of the art interferences detection and mitigation algorithms for GNSS receivers. His other research interests include Adaptive Digital Filtering, Digital Signal Processing, FPGA, and Machine Learning. He has 4 conference publications from his Ph.D. to date.
